The house has been built in 2003 and is used as a private Holiday house during the First 3 years, we just moved in recently for permanent living in Portugal. We just bought a new house 3 km. from this one and that’s why it will be available soon.

Area


The property is just 4 km from Caldas da Rainha. Salir de Matos is a small village in the hills on the Atlantic coast side. Only 2400 inhabitants live in an area of over 24 km2. The property lies at the end of the village with an amazing view over the countryside. It is traditionally built in Portuguese style and the street is very quiet and friendly for kids

East and South you will enjoy the National Parks of Serra de Candeeiros and Serra de Aire. Wonderful areas for hitching and mountain biking.

The most exciting beaches of Portugal are within 10 km distance; the wonderful lagoon of Foz do Arelho gives you every opportunity for water sports activities. Or do you want to fish on the Atlantic? The beach of Sao Martinho do Porto is famous for its Shell shape. And the Baleal beach is a surfers paradise. Nazaré is famous for its way of old fashion fishing.

The number 7 golf club in Europe, Praia d’el Rey, is around the corner as well as the Golden Eagle golf club. And keep in mind, Lisbon is just 45 minutes away and hosts over 10 golf courses.
